HOME CARE

(PRIVATE DUTY)

Home care, also known as “Private Duty,” can be categorized as help with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry, light housekeeping, errands, shopping, transportation, personal care and companionship wherever the client calls home. This service is great for someone who may want to hold on to their independence a little longer, but is unable to independently run their household, or someone living in assisted living who might just need some one-on-one attention. Bridges Home Care Services works with a multiple Community Health Choice providers, such a PA Health and Wellness, UPMC Waiver, Amerihealth Caritas, and Promise.

We also serve Veterans through the VA, as well as the Vet Assist program, and we accept private payment. We offer services from 3-hour shifts, to 24 hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Our caregivers are very dedicated to our clients, and most times, become more like family members than workers. Working closely with the client's case manager, we are granted hours for care to help the client remain safe and happy in the comfort of their own “home”. We are currently servicing clients on the east side of Pittsburgh, including but not limited to Murrysville, Plum, Monroeville, Wilmerding, Oakmont, Verona, Penn Hills, and more.

Here at Bridges, it is of utmost importance for clients in need to receive the best care possible. We have partnered with the Vet Assist program, allowing single Veteran's, married Veteran's and surviving spouse's of a Veteran to receive personal care in their home while awaiting the local VA to process the application for aid and attendance, as a loan, at a 0% interest rate.
