Our Therapy Services
Our physical therapists use physical activity, exercise and additional treatments to help patients of all ages increase strength, balance, mobility and coordination. Physical therapy can help patients after an illness, surgery, injury, hospital or nursing home stay, or loss of function due to aging. We aim to restore optimal physical function, and prevent future injury.
Occupational therapy is a rehabilitative service that helps patients with conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, COPD, depression, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, arthritis or generalized weakness, among others. It focuses on restoring or maintaining your ability to perform tasks used in daily living, often through developing ways to modify or adapt activities.
Speech language therapy involves corrective treatment of physical and/or cognitive disorders that cause difficulty with communication and/or swallowing. Normal aging and debilitating medical conditions, such as stroke, head and neck cancer, brain injury or dementia, can make speech therapy necessary.
Our Nursing Services
Registered nurses and licensed practical nurses assess and monitor the patient’s health care needs, educate patients and caregivers, while collaborating with your primary care physician for optimal outcomes. Our nurses allow you to remain at home while receiving the nursing care you need to recuperate.
Specialized nurses who work with patients to assess their mental health needs, develop a nursing diagnosis and plan of care, implement the plan and evaluate it for effectiveness. Patients coping with disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, schizophrenia, psychosis, aggressive behavior and anxiety can make mental health nursing necessary.
